The Physical Security Professional (PSP) credential provides demonstrable knowledge and experience in threat assessment and risk analysis; integrated physical security systems; and the appropriate identification, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of security measures. Those who earn the PSP are ASIS board certified in physical security. Eligibility Requirements: Five years of physical security work experience and no higher education degree. OR Bachelor's degree and four years of physical security work experience. OR Master's degree or higher and three years of physical security work experience. For those currently credentialed with the APP designation... Four years of physical security work experience AND hold the APP designation with no higher education degree. OR Bachelor's degree and three years of physical security work experience AND hold the APP designation. OR Master's degree and three years of physical security work experience AND hold the APP designation.
